This is still the best deal for a banh mi west of the Mississippi. $2.50 for a grilled pork sandwich with all the fixings. Be prepared to wait, as their foot traffic is busy most days/nights.

The best Tofu Banh Mi in the downtown area, maybe inner loop. The other dishes are great so you almost can't go wrong . Pro Tip: ask for extra veggies.

This is MY favorite spot in all Houston for delicious and freshly made Bah Minh (Vietnamese Sandwiches) but they also have a good selection of vermicelli bowls & steaming phos.

If you want sandwiches to go, make sure you tell them to NOT toast the french bread and to put the veggies on the side so you don't have soggy sandwiches when you want to eat them later @ home.

Some of the best and most generous Vietnamese coffee (cafe sua da) in Houston. Same goes for their banh mi sandwiches.

Try the Chargrill BBQ Pork or Shredded Chicken sandwich. Comes with shredded carrots, cucumber sliced lengthwise, fresh cilantro and a crispy chili pepper wedge. Best $2.75 lunch around.

Ayo, chargrill chicken sandwich, or tofu sandwich. The spring rolls are sort of fall-through when you hold 'em. The spot is cheap and very chill.
