- Great cheese selection (there's always samples to try). Mmm! The olive bar is great too & cheaper than Whole Foods.
- Great little supermarket. Good selection, produce is never in doubt of being fresh and if you buy a morning coffee you get a free bun!
- Go early in the day. You'll be sure to snag all of the delicious samples they pass out. My fave: the burrata mozzarella and marinated mushrooms! Also a must-try: turkey-ricotta meatballs
- Smaller selection but nice veggies. Aisles are so small impossible to navigate especially with my stroller. Nice breads and hale&hearty soups but boutique like and I can never find everything I want
- Pricey but everyone here is so friendly and they have a great selection of gourmet food!
- Dana Sutton-LongSeptember 6, 2012Union Market brand orange juice. The oranges must come from Narnia or something. As good as any fresh squeezed I've ever tasted.
- The guac, salsa and cheese samples are always readily visible, but pop into the olive oil aisle and look on the third shelf up for a secret free sample surprise.
- Michelle YMarch 3, 2012Has an amazing selection of really great cheeses. Also lots of options for coffee, ice cream, chips and crackers, and prepared foods.
- sara selbert savovJanuary 11, 2013The best run and well stocked food shop around, the manager is very helpful so feel free to ask away.
- Connie ChiuAugust 23, 2014I only come here for the cheese. The selection is good! And sometimes there are samples :)
- Abby FaustMarch 31, 2010how did i ever live without this market! fresh fish & meats, amazing cheese section, an olive bar! excellent for dinner parties & regular groceries
- Alex RavenelMarch 12, 2015Better for specialties (cheese, etc) than full on grocery shopping. Gets super crowded sometimes.
- Ed ClarkOctober 4, 2019Here you can find nearly anything of high quality you’d want to eat, at prices I found surprisingly low. I highly recommend this place.
- Sundays seem like the day when you can enjoy the most free samples (i.e. ice cream, chips & guac, cheese, cookies).
- @sloaneSeptember 29, 2010They have a little bit of everything and while more expensive than a Trader Joe's and Met, the quality is far better. Plus yummy samples!
- best deal on iced coffee in the hood. $2.17 for a large, fresh cold brew. and very rarely any line in the morning commute hours.
- Pricey, but clean and well organized. Long lines move quicker than you think.
- Free cheese samples in the back. I dare you not to take some home after trying
- Jackie LeungMarch 3, 2013Talenti, Il Laboratorio gelatos; Stumptown, Counter Culture, Cafe Grumpy & more other Whole bean coffeebeans r found here
- Alex McCordJuly 18, 2010Prices are more or less the same as the Met and the offerings are much nicer. Plus, they are open until 10pm, which is always about when I need to go grocery shopping!
- Produce across the street at K&Y is much less expensive and great quality
- Old AmsterdamDecember 27, 2012Next time you stop by, check out Hollands Old Amsterdam's premium aged Gouda. You can find out more at http://oldamsterdam.com
- Don’t buy mussels from the fish counter - whole bag was dead and stinky on arrival home.
- Mr Rafael Dry Cleaning & Tailor shopSeptember 12, 2013VERY NICE MARKET, EVERYTHING YOU NEED UNDER ONE ROOF,
- Um...the bag of green seedless grapes cost $11.63. I like this place but it's a money suck. Also. The grapes ain't worth almost $12.
- Love the place. Search out the olive oil and bread samples. Flowers are overpriced however
- Decent selection for a small natural foods store but everything is very overpriced
- More expensive than Whole Foods but hands-down the most well-curated cheese selection.
- Hongchang WuDecember 22, 2012Overpriced, but good selections of olive oils, vinegars, cheese and olives
- It used to be a Blockbuster. Oh, and the cheese samples are always a hit!
