Kimmie OhhSeptember 10, 2019This is an express stop on the 7 train. You can catch the LIRR here. When you exit the station, you can board the Q53 SBS along Roosevelt Ave btwn 61st & 62nd streets (first stop).- Here's a little known fact. Train cars have middle sections where you can stand and not block the damn doors!
at night, the apartments across the street usually have windows u can look in to entertain urself as u wait for the train :o)- Taking my alternate route to work today and stopping off at my spot on steinway for breakfast.
7 Line maybe the oldest, but it's always packed 90 percent of the time.- Our council member was handing out books today near the station for St Patrick's Day. Thank you, Mr Van Bramer.
- If you learn English, the booth clerk won't scream at you while trying for the umpteenth time to tell you she can't add money to your card.
Mikolaj FMarch 11, 2010This is an exciting above-ground platform that has some nice views of the neighborhood, but it also gets annoyingly loud when these big metal trains pass by. Not really worth the $2.25 entrance fee.- If you learn English, the booth clerk won't scream at you while trying to tell you she can't add money to your card.
- Thanks to the new announcements, you always know when the train is coming!
- Here we go again. All 7 trains terminate at qbp. Let the madness commence.
- People on the up escalator to the station won't get out of the way when you are in a hurry.
- Just re-upped my unlimited. How cool is that? No need to get a new card!
