- EaterMay 23, 2012Hello housemade pastas and casual dining options and shrimp BLTs and gelato from the Eatsie Boys. Hello to your new best friend in neighborhood dining establishments. [Eater 38 Member]
- Thick sliced pork tenderloin sandwich with Cajun mustard, homemade potato salad and an Italian Chardonnay. Half priced happy hour noon - 4 pm.
- Pork chop late lunch w/ a 1/2 price happy hour glass of wine. The only negative about Paulie’s is it’s too small and gets too crowded during normal lunch & dinner hours.
- Petronella panini (turkey & bacon) with home made potato instead of pasta salad and a 1/2 price glass of Montepulciano. Tip: wifi pw = Petronella
- Cherise ArdoinDecember 12, 2015Their desserts and coffees are awesome! You must try the shortbread cookies, key lime pie and Vanilla Carmel Latte.
- Alex S.June 19, 2012Enjoyed their wonderful gazpacho and chicken piccata. They seem to have much more good stuff that I need to explore. For one, their tuna grilled sandwich is excellent, too, with a lot of ginger.
- Alex S.July 1, 2012Another very cool place to enjoy your lunch. Serve one of its kind grilled tuna sandwich, excellent chicken piccata and homemade pastas. There are much more items on the menu that need exploring.
- Mazanin FDecember 3, 2014Fusilli pesto pasta is amazing. Their happy hour deals are until 3pm and you can pair your food with a tasty wine

- Camila CahhFebruary 9, 2017Any choice is really good, I like amatriciana sauce and a glass of wine, take a nice lunch
- EdNovember 18, 2017The pizza suffers from mediocrity, but the barrata salad is excellent. The mushroom soup is too thin and not rich enough to be delicious, but is loaded with mushrooms.
- Counter service. Good food. Healthy choices (salads, fish, etc.). Okay wine list. Beer too. But not much parking. And it gets crowded.
- Houston ChronicleAugust 3, 2014Don't miss: Chicken piccata; bucatini Amatriciana; canestri al Funghi (ridged pasta curls with shiitake, crimini and lemon-zested bread crumbs). Read more
- Lovely little Italian joint in the neighborhood! Nighty specials run out quick, but you can call in a plate to hold.
- Becky ReevesJune 18, 2013Excellent! Portions are huge. Italian Family Salad is delicious. Highly recommend Canestri alla Funghi (housemade shells and mushroom sauce).
- Principe panini lunch special w soup, pourover coffee w a decorated shortbread cookie, & ginger lemonade & cucumber water = happiness.
- Try the Rigatoni Bolognese - Perfectly firm pasta, creamy and meaty sauce, just the right amount of herbs to bring out the flavor in the veal.
- Pasta servings are HUGE! Even the 1/2 size was more than filling.
- The petronella panini is absolutely delicious add the the ginger ice tea and you have a perfect fast meal
- sonal KhodiyarDecember 25, 2013Amazing food, and do not forget to have the cucumber infused water at no cost. Very refreshing.
- Alex S.August 3, 2012A cup of cold gazpacho followed by homemade pasta with pesto and pine seeds, flushed down with Belgian beer... A pure delight!
- Try the Eggplant Parmigiana - The Wednesday special. One of the best reasons to come here. Second to none.
- Christy LandesNovember 7, 2014Great lunch specials and portions. Pasta was hot and fresh tasting. Salad cold and crisp, not overdressed! Friendly service.
- The shrimp BLT is probably my favorite. So delicious! Perfect for a light lunch.
- Shrimp BLT, spaghetti with meatballs or Caesar salad with shrimp. Also, they have small and large portions.
- Sarah Peacock 🎈November 7, 2013NO gluten free availability, sometimes there's one or two options. Most of the proteins have soy sauce/ flower added.
- Try the Caserecci Calamari - Saturday dinner special. Spicy and full of seafood flavor. Excellent.
- Sachin ShahSeptember 24, 2016Their pesto is amazing and their serving size is huge. Decent vegetarian choices.
- Try the Osso Bucco - Meaty heaven. Be sure to suck the marrow out of the bone with a straw.
- Try the Arnold Palmer - Assam black tea with ginger lemonade. Make it yourself at the drink station.
- Vince FlickingerJanuary 27, 2018Food is really good/table service is horrendous when busy. Staff is extremely unhelpful. We were told that their boss doesn’t allow them to manage seating & “regulars” grab tables before they order.
- The cookies are better than the cake, or so says the guy who sold me a cookie.
- The coffee is a regular coffee, don't let the whole spiel about it being drip or whatever fool you with their weird hipster language
- Try the Potato Salad - Red potatoes, nice and chunky, lots of rich herb flavor
- Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with extra cajun mustard on the side. You can thank me later.
- Try the Cafe Latte - Perfectly pulled. Paulie's uses Greenway Coffee. Go local!
- Try the Chicken Picatta - Super tender chicken with wonderfully rich sauce.
- Try the Shrimp Scampi - Whole sliced garlic gloves. Heavenly.
- The mushroom soup on a cloudy day is just perfect. Here with a friend from Miami showing him around
- Love Paulie's and so does everyone else. Getting a table can be a challenge during lunch.
- Try the Eggplant Parmigiana - Perfectly cooked eggplant, rich sauce, ripe and tasty cheese
- Try the Eggplant Parmigiana - Heavenly. The best I've ever had.
