- Angela JordenFebruary 17, 2012I've never found better tamales. And the salsa and queso is highly addictive. Everything is made fresh every day, but you better get there early--not everything on the menu is there after noon.
RyanFebruary 14, 2016This place is amazing! Got the spicy chicken chipotle tamale and the chicken in red sauce tamale. Must also try the elotes (corn, cheese, chili powder and mayo).

Yummy Tamales! Get there early they only make so many . My fav chicken with red sauce.. Fish tacos are also good! Their avocado is good and a large portion

Tortas are bomb too. Never tried the tacos. Jarritos always present. Never any horchata.

No frills, just "the real deal" Mexican food.- The girl bashing on this place is an idiot with no taste buds. This place is the BEST place to go to in the Indy area for authentic Mexican tamales and tortas.

Great tamales! It's like an island of Southwest in the Mid-West. Hard to believe you can find tamales this good in Indy! Takes me back to San Diego.

You can bring the tamales on a plane. They will get thru security. Also will stay warm at least from Indy to Atlanta

Ashley WJanuary 2, 2012Not impressed. Very oily and the massa should be much sweeter for the dessert tamales. Rice and chips were good. Do your self a favor and head to a local central american place for a real tamale.

Tamales are wonderful, but try the fish tacos. They are wonderful.

Don't miss the sweet tamales - pumpkin is my favorite.
