- TingApril 1, 2016Really enjoyed their curated cheese platter (5 types for $30), lovely taste and texture. Remember to leave room for desserts. The profiteroles are delicious!
- TingDecember 20, 2015Go upstairs for a more casual vibe to feast on the charcuterie.Love the chicken pâté and the seasonal Mont D'or cheese ($48).The crusty baguette that comes with them also good.Take out also available.
- ShelovaApril 1, 2017Loving the vibe of the wine bar upstairs. Great place to unwind , eat and chat over wine. Service is excellent. And the duck rillette remains a firm favorite.
- PovegeSeptember 26, 2018Extensive french charcuteries. Recommend: anchovies, black pudding, roasted figs, grenouilles (frog legs). Dessert fav: pruneaux (dried plums). Interesting red wine selections - ask for recommendation
- Lucille FisherSeptember 28, 2015Authentic French cuisine in Singapore with old world service & colonial charm. Meat & duck dishes are outstanding, good wine selection & yes, leave room for dessert!
- Jen LuFebruary 8, 2013Do not miss out on the coq du beouf and frog legs. Go with a group so you can get a bunch of things to share. Can't really go wrong with anything on this menu
- ErnieJune 15, 2015Hooray! This restaurant does lives up to its hype! Split a 1kg cote de boeuf between 4 of us and it made for a very satisfying dinner. Best to share desserts, the portions are very generous.
- Aditi AmaleanDecember 5, 2014Notes from Friends (Not on Foursquare!): Casual French – booking advisable Approximately $80 per person without wine Get: Rabbit Rillete, Duck Confit, Beef Cheeks, Steak, Foie Gras
- JuanJuan YaoJune 4, 2018The best French so far I found in singapore ~the second floor feels like in Countryside of France!
- Olivier BiotJuly 18, 2015Spectacular menu, succulent dishes, definitely a taste of home ! Have not tried the rilettes bar yet, but that's definitely highly appealing
- Marilyn OngSeptember 14, 2013steak au poivre was good, though it was a little too salty! the pork stew was really good - a must try! we had the passionfruit souffle. if you dislike sour taste you should skip this
- Rachel LamOctober 17, 2012If you want to avoid the crowd, come for weekday lunches. If you want a better variety on the menu, come for dinner, but be warned that reservations usually fill up very quickly.
- Liz LOctober 26, 2014Chicken liver pate with port wine served with crusty warm bread; pair it with wine. Yum. Tartare was good not great, excellent fries.
- Madeline WiderbergOctober 20, 2013Good not fantastic. If you go in eve, sit inside, we were outside and couldn't see food or read menu, was given a torch. Portion sizes are huge, very hearty rustic French.
- MouthfoolSeptember 1, 2014Book in advance to dine at the restaurant or simply walkin to dine at the rillette bar upstairs. Both are excellent!
- Hands-down best escargot in Singapore, tangy tomato base cuts through the garlic & butter. Cote du Boeuf was perfect. Be hungry, large portions!
- Kenneth TiongJuly 24, 2013Rilettes are decent (4/5), and profiteroles huge ice cream sandwiches (4.25/5). Confit is fairly good (4/5), hanger steak over salted (2.5/5). Over-priced.
- TingSeptember 9, 2013Fresh Artichokes in season absolutely awesome. Taste totally different from bottled/ canned ones. ($42)
- Kirsten SooJanuary 13, 2012Good ol rustic French fare. Chef Patrick Heuburger dishes out exquisite beef tartare and sautéed frog legs one simply can't get enough of!
- Xiao GuangMarch 28, 2013Unhappy with the service. Wanted to lunch at Le Bistrot but they misled me to Rilette Bar without telling me they serve different menu.
- Fantastic place, great wine selection, the Tatare is sublime and the Duck Rillette was outstanding. Definitely my favorite French Restaurant in Singapore!
- Meat eaters can escape Singapore mediocrity and find Le Bistrot du Sommelier for a reminder of how it's meant to be. Loads of top wines as well. Get a table beforehand and thank me later.
- The rillettes are amazing duck or pork. Please try the Mont d'Or cheese fondue amaaaaaazzzziiiinnng
- eileen leeJuly 23, 2010hearty and supremely authentic french dishes. outstanding value. my picks - Onglet de boeuf (super), Beef cheeks (delicieux). Overall... tres bon!
- Natalie TanOctober 9, 2010Phenomenal Warm Ox Tongue Salad! Balance of flavors is beautiful. Meat is wonderfully tender. Amazing with red wine or beer.
- Marco 鳄梨December 29, 2014Dont go there for cheese fondue (they try to give you a pot of vacherin cheese and pretend its fondue), wine prices (also by the glass) are to pricey
- Ben MaysonJune 30, 2017Larger portions than expected. Very full. Atmosphere not stuffy either. Nice evening.
- Ange SJanuary 3, 2015Service was good, but the food took a long time coming: order rillette! Some food items may not appear on the menu, so ask!
