The murals at this station were done as a summer project. The lead artist was Francisco G. Mendoza who also taught at Orpzco Academy

Dunkin Donuts Coffee is pricier than in downtown. Might as well buy fair trade for the same price elsewhere.

On June 25, 2006, the 18th station, along with all other stations on the 54/Cermak branch of the Blue Line, became part of the Pink Line. Rather than continuing east on the Blue Line, Pink Line trains run north over a section of track on Paulina Avenue.
