They hold pub quizzes and other events regularly, great place :-) The regular pub quiz is on a Wednesday night, and is very busy, so tables will be booked early.

Good food, friendly staff. Dog-friendly (the owners have their own dog). Great to have a local like this where they get to know you as regulars as well as making everyone feel welcome.

If you want a Sunday Roast in the evening on a Sunday, you have to pre-book them and they will hold it for you.

really cozy and warm pub, but make sure you explore this batcave as lots of little spaces to discover! don't settle for top floor bar area! get sexy downstairs! oh and order the bbq platter! yum! Read more

I was here yesterday. They have this offer going on at the moment. 2 mains and a bottle of house wine for 20 pounds. It was really nice!
