Chicken Fried Chicken!! Everyone raves about the chicken friend steak, and it is HUGE (as pictured) and good, but the chicken fried chicken is where it's at! Authentic, big portions. Great gravy.

Great Place for great home cooking and hospitality. Nice place to lay back with friends or met new ones. Staff is wonderful and food is amazingly great. Live bands frequently.

Really good reasonably priced bbq. Also several good sides & desserts. Cheap beer. Generous portions. Line up cafeteria style. Salad bar. Live music on weekends. Better value than Republic Smokehouse.

My favorite spot for Chicken Fried Steak in Houston. Oh the BBQ is pretty good too! Favorite thing about this spot is the mason jar you can choose as your glass for tea.

Pretty good BBQ in a low-key atmosphere. Portions are small for the price. They also have bluegrass performances occasionally.

Avoid the chopped beef unless you have it in a sandwich or on top of your baked potato. Having it on the metal plate cools it down too quickly.

The chopped beef baked potato special did not have much meat on the potato. Disappointed. But still love their chicken fried steak.

If you're watching your calorie intake - order the kids grilled chicken breast with veggies & skip the bread - really tasty. If you aren't concerned with calories then go for the chicken fried steak!

Great prices, but a little disappointed in the quality of the barbecue here. Nothing a regular oven couldn't accomplish. BBQ sauce is not the best. CFS was a bit soggy and sides are small.

Well, it sure wasn't the best chicken fried steak I ever had, I'd rate it a 4, barely- I honestly wouldn't bother going back there.
