This is the main entrance There is also an entrance on the right that is barely used. To avoid the long lines Use the side entrance on the right or on the Brooklyn Bridge Blvd side when lines are long

Tim GilbertJune 20, 2014That constant beeping sound from behind a closed door in the juror's lounge will not stop for the entire time you're here. Presumably it's been going on since the courthouse was built in 1846. Enjoy!

The security line at 9-9:30 can be long. Better to come early or late. There's wifi in the assembly room.

Greer JonesDecember 21, 2011Saw the man who maintains the hot drink machine take a pair of scissors and break up the hardened sugar and drink mix. He then wiped the scissors off with his hands. Yuk!
On court day, enter through Adams Street to try to beat long security lines. Be prepared to wait a long time for an elevator. Not all floors have stair access.
Food and drink are allowed in if you're serving jury duty, even during the selection process. Don't throw your iced coffee away.
Someone should start selling good coffee & sandwiches here!

Pack a lunch if you are serving jury duty. The elevators are packed during lunch break.

You can bring food and drinks in if you're a juror, but no glass bottles.
