- Rojak: Kovan Rojak #01-39 serves one of the better offerings in the country. You have the option of adding more ingredients to this local fruit salad: toasted cuttlefish, century eggs & even abalone!
- There are 2 popular wanton noodle stalls in this hawker centre but I prefer 51 Ming Fa. Their noodle stands out; very springy, every bite is so yummy! Made my 40 minutes queue time well worth it.
- Wantan Mee. 51 Mingfa #01-64 packs above average WTM. Noodles r 'q' (springy), wantans hv strong hints of pepper & char siew (BBQ pork) slices succulent. Super-long waiting time on weekends!
- The drinks stall 4SQ fans highlighted, that sells 30-cents bird's nest & soya drinks, is Sun Kee Drinks #01-65. Great thirst-quenching stuff on a hot day
- Vegetarian options: specialty vegetarian, chai tow kway, chwee kueh, chee cheong fun, yam cake, popiah, rojak, local snacks & desserts, gado gado, tahu goreng, lontong, beancurd, yong tau foo, fruits
- Roast meats. Unassuming stall Bedok Cooked Food #01-32 is find of the year. Char siew (BBQ pork) was juicy & well caramelised. Honest roasted taste of duck meat with crispy skin. Would be back!
- TingAugust 13, 2015There is an unassuming stall Xing Xing 兴兴 near to the mutton soup that pan fry traditional teochew kuehs. The ku-chai kuehs are delicious!
- This stall has probably the cheapest priced drinks you can find in Singapore! Small cup (30cents), Big cup (50cents).
- Gado gado. Suitable vegetarian alternative from Hussain Muslim Food #01-54. Rice cake, boiled potatoes, tempeh, long beans, fried beancurd, hard-boiled egg – covered in peanut sauce. Crackers add pop
- Vegetarian bee hoon. When a stall offers several green dishes, instead of just fried/processed gluten products, I zoom in. Jin Shun Zhai 01-46 does not disappoint. Enjoyed their curry vege
- Rice porridge. The tasty porridge with yutiao being mentioned here is 祥瑞粥品 #01-28. Popular for breakfast, they offer >10 combos. Generous topping of fried dough fritter.
- DIY popiah: Fortune Food #01-52 sells handmade (actually central kitchen) Popiah skin ($15/kg), ground peanuts, crispy bits, chilli sauce, etc to host ur own Popiah party @ home. They deliver too!
- Economy rice ('chai png'). Enjoyed home-style dishes from Teo Heng #01-37. Operated by locals, who probably understand our tastes & preferences better
- pin leeJanuary 1, 2015Try the Chee Cheong fun (rice rolls) at stall facing wet market. Long q as lady owner slowly prepares each order. Delicious - smooth and yummy . Some say as good as those from KL.
- Postal box nearby. In front of the row of market stalls facing the bus interchange. These stalls r selling cloth, alteration svcs, handbags.
- Suvega SrinivasanJuly 20, 2014Compact market area! Many shops around it, like McD, kovan mall-KFC, PizzaCorner, Cold Storage, Popular, NTUC, hardware key maker shops, CK, backers, and a 24hrs seaFood center.
- Yi Shi Jia wanton noodles (#01-57) has been around for ages and still tasty. Prices are very reasonable but be prepared to queue.
- TingJune 21, 2015A good example of a heartland hawker centre. Bright and airy, with decent standard of hawker fares. The corner coffee stall nearest to heartland mall is good.
- Yi Shi Jia wanton mee, #01-57, noodles and cha siew very traditional. Not salty. Good.
- Josef Carlo MissionJune 26, 2015The kopi here is one of the best I had in Singapore. Definitely will come back for the kopi.
- Bak Chor Mee: D long q @ stall #01-05 had me fantasising how delicious their minced meat fishball noodles was. It was an illusion. Noodle was starchy, rojak ingredients were fighting ea other :-(
- Ok basically you've to try e porridge w e you tiao, pontian noodle, e veggie rice store, economical bee Hoon, fishball noodle, dessert and sugar cane!!!
- Chai tow kway. Pleasantly surprised that 85 Bedok North Fried Oyster #01-30 serves tasty CKT

- For fishball noodles, just zoom in on Yam Mee Teochew Fishball Mee #01-35. Don't waste ur calorie intake on other stalls :-P
- 发记 Teochew minced meat fishball noodle is a must try, esp during the evening shift taken over by the son. V nice big thank you after he serves you food. Nice portion of noodles as well. :)
- Watch out for Cai fan prices before buying. Meat can cost a lot!
- Rachel HoOctober 13, 2014Don't eat fish ball noodle at #01-05, I've got cheated by the queue. Eat at teochew fish ball noodle stall. It is the best! Yums.
- Soya milk. While the drink from Cold Soya Beancurd #01-14 was thick & aromatic, we did not like the artificial coffee creamer aftertaste
- Ist time in this market. Seems to have many good food stalls. Minced pork n curry noodle is yummy.
- Must-tries: Teochew Meepok, Chicken Rice, Malay food, Kway Chap, Economic Beehoon. Perfect place for early morning breakfast too.
- Sheryl KohDecember 15, 2010Do not patronise Feng Yuan Fresh Sugarcane Juice, #01-55 if u dun wanna to be cheated! !!$4.50 for only "mountain" of colour ice with no sign of kiwi, strawberry and mango.
- Ivan OngNovember 7, 2010If you are nearby, must come to this newly renovates hawker centre for some authentic local culinary delights.
- Alex ChewMarch 19, 2016try the duck/char siew rice at this stall called "bedok cooked food". popiah is not bad too. sadly, there's no good fish soup anymore.
- New Penang assam laksa stall is quite good, but sweeter to suit Singaporean taste buds
- Good food almost all stall.. problem might be finding a seat and table to be clean.

- Hajjah Mariam Muslim Food has the best Malay food here. Loves its nasi lemak, mee soto, lontong. Yum!!
- Try the porridge beside Hup Lee nasi lemak stall! The uncle is very kind too :D
- Chicken curry noodle: #01-05 was disappointing. Lotsa recommendations on 4SQ. After 15-min q later, realised it was just their laksa sauce with boiled chicken. Zero curry :-( I'll go Hong Lim nxt time
- The economical beehoon store is pricier than I thought. Egg, veg, fishcake & sausage beehoon costs me $4.70 & I thought it was $1.70. Sounds similar in Chinese..zzzZ I'd rather get . Pfft
