while the signature chicken in a bucket was competent (3.75/5), this is hardly the to-go place for kampong chicken rice. the custard buns fared worse (3/5). will try their prawn chee cheong fun soon!

Must try, the Mu Tong Ji (木桶鸡) and also a bowl of Dampling soup. U will love the rich flavored soup

When it's peak hour, service is awfully long and they can forget your orders sometimes. However service is very good and they're very friendly so you tend to forgive them for it.

Dim sum: Red bean roll & mango roll are good. Century egg siewmai was cold & rubbery. Beancurd roll was so-so. Porridge and bucket chicken had wayyy too much salt & pepper.

Chicken in a bucket is just a gimmick. Steamed in metal plates and then put into a wooden container. Ordinary.

each piece of char siew is 98% fats, only 2% is edible meat. highly NOT recommended for health conscious people.
