- Karl BustamanteJanuary 14, 2013The new online appointment system for the OEC is pretty impressive. What used to take me 3-4 hours took 5 mins today. It's not peak season though, but still.
- There is photocopy self service at the Labor section, but it is payable only via NETS or EZ Link card; 12 cents per page. Air-conditioned. With small public rest rooms.
- Get the list of requirements from the website before you go and come early.
- Reymund NavarroDecember 17, 2012Passport Renewal is faster compared to doing it in the Philippines. However it costs almost 4x than having processed in the Philippines and it takes 6 weeks before it can be redeemed.

- AdxAugust 15, 2012prepare to waste your whole day. if you are applying for passport renewal, best to send by email. i applied via walk-in was told no slots for 2 months. but via email can get one within the month.

- One thing they have done right is not accomodating those late for their appointment. DON'T be late or you'll have to rebook your appointment!
- 10:12am.72 minutes after opening their gates, Windows 8/9 have received 68 renewal application forms. Window 7 has processed 18. You do the math...

- Jaczie LoJune 16, 2011Come early to renew your passport. Got in at 7am and was #91 out of #120 quota on a "lean" day (it was raining). Estimate accordingly.
- Liza UbaldeDecember 1, 2010The 25 minute walk (or so) from Orchard MRT to here is good exercise. Unless you're wearing heels then it's just a pain. Even when you go on weekdays, Qs are still pretty long. So come early.

- Set an appointment for OEC via http://bmappointment.poea.gov.ph/singapore-appointments/index.php. Walk-in applicants are no longer entertained - at least that's what the guard said :P

- getting an appointment takes forever! wat the efff is this OAV registration? systen is sooo inefficient! bring a book to kill the waiting time
- Don't forget to wear a collared shirt f you're coming for passport renewal. They just sent a n old lady back because she was wearing a tshirt. Good thing she's a senior citizen and gets priority

- never wear sleeveless, slippers and shorts. otherwise they won't let you in
- Couldnt help it. But i have to say it. Sorry ......Philippines should be spelled as one "L" and 2 "P" :)
