Chill, chic boutique hotel right in Santa Monica. Central courtyard/pool feels like a movie set. Great use of Hilton free night (LXR). Front desk lady seemed high throughout the stay.

I had looked at this place online for 4 months, and everything was even nicer than my expectations. Beautiful stylish rooms, lovely staff and cosy pool. I will be back!

The staff are great! Very informative and helpful. On top of that the hotel is beautiful and very clean. Wifi, breakfast buffet, heated pool, valet service, etc

Egyptian-cotton linens + blackout curtains FTW. Killer outdoor space, too! Lounge by the pool during the day and cozy up to the outdoor fireplace (with a cocktail) at night.

Go to the hotel lounge Hideaway anytime! Amazing European-style buffet, fantastic Italian dishes served family-style and refreshing cocktails! Open 7am-Late 365 days/year

Service level of a $140/night hotel. Decor and amenities of a $250. $50 extra charged for having a pool and gym. Street park feet away and save the $60.

Order the spirituous shakes. Rum. Vodka. And surprises. Who knew the missing ingredient to heaven in a cup could be any combo of coconut milk, strawberries, and toasted marshmallows?!

I take back the last thing I wrote here before my stay finished. This was the singularly worst-run hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t.

The hotel has beach cruisers available 2 use. Free for 2 hrs, then a small charge. Take advantage of the ride and hit the bike path along the beach.

Staff is wonderful. We left the Shangri La when they couldn't give us our room after a x-country trip and waiting 2 hrs. Oceana got us a room, place is beaut, much less pretentious
