Great place for relaxing , exercising including eating. You can find the fresh market in the morning at the entrance of the park (opposite Chulalongkorn hospital) love to be here !! My fav olace 💙💙

Did u know? Lumpini Park is the 1st public park in BKK. Gift by King Rama VI in 1925. His Majesty also picked the name, which was derived from Lumpiniwan district in Nepal, the birthplace of Buddha

Amazing spot for a morning run with a mostly-shaded path. Great place to people-watch (or monitor lizard-watch), too.

2.543 KM stretch that opens early morning before 5 am and closes sometimes after 8 PM. Includes a dedicated bicycle lane but that only opens 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Great for an afternoon walk.

Good way to hide from the heat! Park is lovely, has open air gym and (relatively) small lizards that casually stroll by the water.

There are a few hundred dragons here! This one I met was almost 2 meters long. I didn't see them eat any tourists but who knows?

Did u know? The Chinese clock tower was built in 1925 in preparation 4 d Siamrath Phiphitthapan Trade Fair, which showcased an array of Thai pdts to d world. It has a pagoda-inspired theme.

Calm place to have a walk, observe water, feed birds and fish, observe lizards and turtles. Can rent a boat, exercise in a special opoen gym, kids can play on a playground.

Green oasis in the bustling center of Bangkok. Head for Sala Daeng on BTS and follow directions to Si Lom MRT station. Alternatively one can access the park by taking Exit 3 of Lumphini MRT station.

A 2.5 km stroll through the park will unveil the Bangkok Thai locals gathering to partake in their daily exercise. Thai chi, Sword arts, Fan Flare and Dance. Soak up the scene or jump right in.

One of the greatest places in Bangkok. Reminds of Central Park in NY. Great for relaxing or doing sports, or both! 🦎 are everywhere and they're cute!

Great place for escape from the chaos of Bangkok. Chill out or do some sports, there's a stage for events, a swimming pool and tennis fields. In the end it's up to you.

A peaceful haven in central Bangkok with great wildlife. Still prefer the larger and more beautiful luan rot fai (train park) up near Chatuchak though.

Please note that monitor lizards freely roam the greens in the park. Chances of encountering one are fairly high, so stay away if scared or come visit for spotting them!

Lots of monitor lizards, and large ones at that! Park is looking a little worn, but looks to be mid-renovation with a new kids playground on the way.

It's a gorgeous place to run although the smell of sewer and or the fermented soil does come through from time to time. Certain path smells a lot of car fumes and pollution.

This 142-acre park is where you can have a relaxing walk, have picnics, go to playgrounds, and do some boating (on its artificial lake). A non-smoking area. Near the MRT Lumphini and Si Lom Station.

See the park from a paddle boat (40 THB per 30 min) and greet the giant lizards that casually stroll across the grass lawns and spend the heat of the day swimming in the lake in the parks center.

Real cool park for your morning or evening walk/jog or just to get your green fix in this concrete jungle. Check out the tai chi folks all over the park in the mornings!

Monitor lizards. 1 of many residents in d park. They tend to 'run' away when they see humans. These lizards r typically harmless but can react aggressively when provoked. They feed on small animals.

O2 in the city. Run around the park will give you around 5 km. There are workout areas in the park as well

Not the most beautiful city park but lots of ambience and lively. Good presence of food & drink kiosks as well as litter boxes.

November to January each year there are concerts by Bangkok Symphony Orchestra every Sunday afternoon 5pm onwards. Relax with good friends and a bottle of wine (remember to the bottle paper bagged!)

Good for watching what the locals get up to - people stretching, doing aerobics classes, jogging, cycling and so on. Go in the late afternoon or early morning, when it's not so hot.
