Izzy ManApril 22, 2010If you stand at certain points near the stair case and with enough practice you can get the incoming train door like a pro. Also don't eat any Mexican vendor food, it gave me stomach pains for days.

This is the first/last stop of the 7 train. There is a little florist stop inside the subway :)
Tony CJanuary 4, 2013The busiest subway station in Queens, and they removed the garbage cans and have three narrow stairwells.
Riders, if the train is messed up on weekends or if there's service changes on the 7 line, take the LIRR, it's faster, and it now runs to Grand Central.
It's worth letting a train leave so you can get a seat. Just watch out for the pushy older women.
If you're going to stand on the escalator, stand to the right. Escalators are meant to save everyone time, even if they're gonna walk anyway.
If you're in the downtown area and you're a slow walker then this place ain't for you

watch out for angry elderly women during rush hour. They'll push, shove, elbow, kick and more to get a seat over you.
7 Express is the way to go, takes half the time that the local train takes to get to Manhattan
Why are you on the escalator if you're going to walk up/down? That's what the stairs are for....utilize them...
People need to learn how to walk up stairs-____- its not hard people
swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, yes stupid it says insufficient fare
People need to learn how to walk/move quicker! If not someone's getting pushed!
