Chicken rice. The one 4SQ fans recommended is Hup Hong #01-51. Sees long queues during lunch time. While Tian Tian it is not, they serve a decent plate. Plus they give a side of ‘achar’ & vege soup
- Fish soup. Ron Sheng Fish Head Bee Hoon #01-44. Tried the tasty-looking fried fish slices. It was super crispy & yummy! Zero hint of any baking soda that I taste from many stalls

Ayaka WatanabeNovember 25, 2010Go to the fei fei roasted noodle shop and order Ya-Mian(duck noodle) it's very nice and Cha-Shaomian(Charsiew noodle) is also nice and remember that Tuesday is the shops holiday.

- Soy sauce chicken noodles. Enjoyed a plate from Zhen Zhen #01-20. The chicken meat was aromatic
- Epok-epok (curry puff). Good ones made by Sri Menanti #01-60. Mee Rebus is average though

财 01-14 Beef Char kuay tiow is vry good, wok hei is strong & beef tender
Try the newly open stall ( 财记 ) that sell beef, fish and prawn hor fen/ stewed rice.
The porridge at xiang ji cooked food 01-53 is value for money! Yums!! $2.50 for a piping hot bowl of century egg pork porridge:)
Try the wanton noodle at Fei Fei Roasted Noodle. Char siew is gd here.
