I can't believe it took me so long to find this place. Moved to LA from SF and was missing the unique cafés. This fits the bill well for campus!!
The Bomb-dot-com is good, & the Mystique is also good.
Bring your own cup and get $0.25 back! They also have punch cards with your 16th milkshake free. Trust me, it won't take you long to get to 16.

Try the Waite Phillips Hall milkshake: hazlenut syrup & peanut butter. Delicious!

The five dollar shake really costs $4.50. It tastes like $1.00.
Don't bother the super attractive guy named Tim. He will bite your head off!
