Leave the car in the garage and take the subway to the stadium. It's the fastest route between Manhattan and the big ballpark in the Bronx. Fill up your MetroCard early to avoid lines after the game.

It is a very diverse area, yet so overcrowded at times. I love the baseball nostalgia though. Getting home can be a hassle at times, but overall the area is cool.

When exiting the train on game day, walk as far down the platform as possible. People don't seem to realize there are multiple exits that take you to the stadium.

If you're heading to the stadium via the uptown 4, head straight to the last car. It will give you easy access to the staircase down to River Avenue.

Kind of depressing to look at what once was the house that Ruth built.Looking across the way to the house that Steinbrenner built makes it a LITTLE better.
