One of the best & most popular dishes: Las Vegas Plate w/ beef filet, taco & cheese enchilada. A little cheaper for lunch. Gotta have a (well two) margarita.
candycaneJuly 29, 2014I typically go for the 1/4-pound beef fajitas..which are MUY DELICIOSO! Went with the Las Vegas combo plate today.. It was delicious too. Switch to beef enchilada! Comes with fajitas too! Order sides
The steak fajitas are so good I wonder why I would order anything else. But I feel the same way about the enchiladas and the brisket flauta and the tamales and the chorizo. And the green sauce.- Sit at the bar. Jessica or Angel will take care of you. Try a Tex Mex plate, or the beef tenderloin fajitas. Joey's queso dip is awesome.

- Best food of all El Tiempo locations. Tip: Sit on the patio during nice weather. If you like margaritas, ask if Angel is working the bar - he'll add something special (patron or grand mariner).
- I eat here more often than home. Joey's dip, huge shrimp stuffed jalapeños, and combo carnitas & chicken Swiss enchiladas. Frozen margaritas.
- New menu - no new dishes, just (increased) prices. The food's still good, (Vegas combo plate) and a top shelf margarita.

Everything is amazing! Fresh guacamole, really great queso made for sharing, cheese enchiladas are the bomb. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Montrose.

El tiempo is hands down the best Mexican food in town.. Go for the filet fajitas, either Mexicana or Barry style

Probably the best TexMex in Houston. Killer margaritas. Damn good fajitas. Try the quail if you're a fan.
Best Skinny Margs. Don't even look at the menu. Do the fajitas, 1/2lb for two & mixed!

Get a frozen margarita with grand marnier...two will give you the perfect buzz here...also do the cheese enchiladas with ranchero sauce instead of chili

- Head bartender Angel moved to another location, and Dogs are no longer allowed on the patio. 😕. Food is still ok.

Sundays you get basket of pan dulce along with chips and salsa.
