- We enjoyed the fact that the butter is cold, in the kaya toast served by 133 Traditional Coffee & Toast (#01-33). Melts in mouth!
- Breakfast bee hoon. 泉 Economical Bee Hoon #01-21 serves it steaming hot! Optional vege curry. Stir-fried cabbage was soft to chew. Fried chicken wing ugly but flavourful 😬
- SongOctober 13, 2015Wanton Mee: Between Kim Kee and Tanjong Rhu Wanton Mee, my vote goes to Kim Kee. The springy noodles, ketchup sauce and soup are their winning points.
- Jess ThiaJanuary 28, 2015Kim Kee (Coffee Shop) Tanjong Rhu Wanton Mee @ #01-18: The only stall that has got queue during weekday lunch, delicious meaty wanton & soup, but noodle with ketchup+chilli sauce tasted so-so.
- I personally prefer #01-18 wanton for the al dente noodle and the spicy and flavourful chill. Highly recommended. Of course, if queuing is not your preference , I guess #01-35 is a good alternative.
- Wantan mee: Tried both A #01-18 & B #01-35 (both claim same famous Blk 7 pedigree). Both equally tasty silky wantans (dumplings). A sweeter, B saltier. A's charsiew slices thin, B's dry. Order both!
- 24-hour minimar nearbyt. Esso petrol kiosk is along Mountbatten Rd. Its operates a minimart selling baked goods, beverages & limited groceries. Access from this back door near the market
- Prata. The default curry from Al-Mahayas 01-13 is thick & full of flavours. Really made the roti enjoyable to eat
- Minced pork fishball noodles. Operated by elderly couple, Mei Hua Garden #01-17 serves a decent bowl
- Stall #01-36 you will find 139 Mix rice. Variety of choices & good price. Best to come before 12noon lunch peak hour.
- Hidden in the heart of the estate, it's pretty hard to find. Postal code 432004, you got a GPS, right? =p
- Chicken rice from Chicken King #01-28 is decent. Meat was uniformly cooked but lacked fragrance. Rice was garlicky. Soup was lightly herbal. Chilli sauce packed a punch!
- Jess ThiaJanuary 28, 2015Not much weekdays lunch crowd, strong wind from low ceiling fans, decent choices of local food & variety of toast for kopi break.
- Kopitiam Stall #01-26 is the best. Closed on Sunday and Sunday. Open office hour only.
- YC NgorFebruary 20, 2011Pork porride with egg or century egg. one of the oldest stall in that market.
- Tons of pigeons flying around and feasting on the leftovers on the table.
- Looking best in class beverage, roti bakar, half boiled egg . Stall #01-26
- Jess ThiaJanuary 28, 2015Spotted another popular stall here --> 王老五 Chicken Rice stall (previously at Kallang Leisure Park basement).
- Keith LohAugust 23, 2017#01-20 kway chap. Small intestines well done, no bad smell. $3 for mixed variety without kway.
- The Tg Rhu famous wan tan noodle stall move here #01-18 By 130 pm they sold out already
