- Great running & bike trails, Basketball court, Picnic tables & beautiful waterfront view of DC & National Harbor! (Free parking)
- Great park for pretty much anything. I walk my dog, fly kites, see history, and so much more. They have basketball courts too. I wish they had lights because the park does not close until 10pm
- The Ritz-CarltonJanuary 11, 2016Jones Point Park is located on the Potomac River, just south of Old Town Alexandria. Its lighthouse, built in 1855, is the last remaining riverine lighthouse in Virginia.
- MK McKenzieJune 11, 2015You can get directly to the water by following the trail and veering off at somewhat hidden access spots. I'd advise against swimming, it is the Potomac, after all.
- P JSeptember 7, 2015Unlike many other parks, they are serious about closing time. If you think you'll be late, park on the street outside the park
- Careful, you're going to spot a lot of people carrying their dogs over their shoulders along the boardwalk. They aren't crazy, it's the park rules.
- Good playground & walking area kid friendly. Historic southern marker of DC
- David BaucomOctober 5, 2016This is a great rest stop on the trail. The county/city did a nice job building this.
- There are water fountains near the restrooms deep inside the park (under the bridge).
- Beautiful place along the waterfront to run or bike ride!
- Water fountain here is still not working. Who do you have to know to get it turned on?
