Free tours every Saturday at 11am (April-October). Civil War tour third Saturday of each month at 1pm. Want to take both? M Squared Real EstateAugust 20, 2011All sorts of notables from American history found their final resting place here, from composer John Sousa to FBI founder J. Edgar Hoover.
They repaved all the interior roads, you can stroller, bike, or skate trough the whole cemetery now!- You have to be a member to bring your dog. Feel free to bring the kids or a friend and enjoy the silence. New roads being put in (10-2010)

Congressional Cemetery is a 35 acre National Historic Landmark active burial ground with nearly 55,000 internments. Scores of noteworthy citizens who left their mark on the city and the nation. Also a membership dog walking park! www.cemeterydogs.org.
