sedaApril 28, 2019It was amazing that there are volunteer guides in the museum explaining Japanese history during our visit. It gave me a really good background info. Expect to spend 2.5-3 hours in the museum
Владимир БородавчукMarch 29, 2019Must visit place!There are 2 floors of constant exhibition + temporary exhibition on the first floor.I'd recommend to take audio guide. It's free, but you need to leave 1000 yen deposit.

ばくりんこ☆June 22, 2015常設展は2015年3月にリニューアルしましたので、2014年以前に行かれた方も新鮮に見れます。個人的に気に入ったのは江戸城本丸御殿のジオラマ。大名たちの詰め部屋を立体的に把握出来ます。江戸城内での大名たちの行動に興味がある方、上田秀人氏の小説やや『黒書院の六兵衛』に興味がある方にはたまりませんね。
江戸東京400年の歴史と文化を展示する博物館。江戸庶民の自然・モノとの共生という生活スタイルを展示する江戸ゾーンと、大正12年の大震災と昭和20年の大空襲の展示を通して惨禍の中から復興への力を展示する東京ゾーンの2つに大きく分けられます。 実物大に復元した江戸時代の日本橋を渡って江戸東京400年の歴史の世界へいざ出発！
rakurai_uboaJune 11, 2016真田丸展を目当てに来たが、観覧時間は常設展と合わせて都合4時間ほどに。この手の歴史博物館にしては常設展の内容がすこぶる充実している（特にジオラマの充実ぶりは凄い）ので、初めて来るなら特別展と合わせて見ておきたい。ただ、それなりに時間は潰す覚悟はいるけども。
