JacksonAugust 2, 2016Bamboo forest, many places to get in river, scenic overlook, lots of trail options....easy to spend a day here and not see everything (leaves you looking forward to next visit)- No, this is the best hike in Metro ATL. Whole park has a N GA mtn feel to it with thick hardwoods, 300 ft overlooks of the river and granite palisades :)
- This is possibly the best park in Atlanta. Beautiful trails along the river, and good climbing, if so inclined. Take your soul mate and a picnic - you won't regret it.
