- Duck rice/noodles: What I enjoyed most was Hollywood's (#01-73) succulent duck meat. Cooked until its soft enuf, d meat tastes delicate in ur mouth. It's also nice dat it's not too herbal
- Prawn noodles: Stall #01-36 is 1 of d rare few in SG still serving d crunchy kangkong (water spinach) in their prawn noodles. Soup was light yet full of flavours. For $3, portion was generous!
- Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake): Compared A) Kim Lee #01-30 & B) Shun Li #01-25 side-by-side. A wins hands down for more fragrance & taste (tks to lots of 'chai por' -chopped fermented radish)
- Green chilli chicken rice #01-09. Enak (delicious)! After being featured, stall has gotten popular. Juicy & flavourful chicken thigh, lightly fried skin, topped with green chilli/onion spread
- TingApril 13, 2021Hidden gem here - the prawn noodles from 詠香面家 (01-28) is full of succulent fresh prawns and clean tasting soup. The soup will taste more robust later in the day. Not to be missed.
- Home to the tastiest tapioca cakes. Thin and crispy gets my vote! Also great soya bean drink, look out for the stall with the long queues
- Mee Hoon Kueh Soup. Can’t go wrong with this bowl from Seletar Sheng Mian #01-60, their 3rd branch in SG. Soup version has egg broken in, thickening & flavouring the bowl
- Hainanese curry rice: Dun hv too high expectation if u c a q @ Havelock Hainanese Curry Rice #01-70. All very charmg & old-school (variety of dishes, elderly man in singlet) but taste below ave :-(
- Metal spikes on roosting areas. Simple, non-chemical, non-harming method to keep birds (mainly pigeons, mynahs & crowd) away
- TingJanuary 16, 2015Don't miss the freshly-made 'soon kueh' here. Radish fillings comes with mushrooms. The 'kuchai kueh' and pink 'png kueh' also nice. Taste like homemade.

- The fried round tapioca kueh that 4SQ user Phoebe referred to is found at 01-69. Consistently sold out, so be patient, very patient
- Epok epok (curry puff). Tasty treat from Dubai Express #01-02. Aromatic potato fillings, not overly spicy. 3 for $2
- Sliced fish soup. I wd rank 1) Hock Heng #01-31, 2) Lai You #01-60, & 3) Loo Kee #01-71. HH's fish slices & soup r thick & generous. LY has a robust soup base, despite serving thin fish slices
- Bak chor mee. Teochew Kway Teow Soup 01-43 serves it Teochew-style. Simple basic preparation. Clean tastes of the ingredients
- Wantan mee ($3.50). Generous vege from Mah Wah #01-33. Served with 2 boiled and 2 fried wantans. However, the electric red ‘char siew’ (BBQ pork) slices were mediocre
- Wantan Mee. Hui Ji #01-35 is generous with ingredients but noodle sauce is bland (w/o chilli). Their Lor Mee is also popular

- Must try the Golden Rooster Western Food. They cook the chicken so nice and they are Halal. ^_^
