- If you’re going to a London Show this hotel is ideally situated. Room was clean & adequate for my needs. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall to be recommended. I’d have no hesitation in staying again
- Dr Michael LangeJuly 6, 2018It is economical & clean, make sure u pay extra to get ac!We are here because it is an international volleyball tour hotel. The breakfast buffet needs real eggs add some vegetables to the choices .
- Otel.comMarch 26, 2013It has a great central location close to many attractions. It can be a bit noisy sometimes but be sure to book double spacious and quiet rooms.
- Pierre KetteridgeNovember 23, 2010Certainly not a shithole now, in 2010! Small but clean and comfortable room, good value at £79 for double. Only gripe is cleaning staff banging on door every 5 mins from 8am - I need my kip!
- Great location and price also access to the best gym facilities in central London but it was built as a youth hostel so rooms are small and the lifts get packed at peak times.
- Ozy OzySeptember 15, 2013Location is great.2mn to metro and very close to oxford streethotel is always full good price and clean..before coming select twins bedroom.because double queen bed is very small and room is not large
- Great central location, rooms keep being updated. Staff friendly. Rooms can be a bit small but for the price its great. Regularly stay here.
- DHR.comMarch 27, 2013It is near Oxford Street and Soho, very centrally situated. The rooms are comfortable and the shower is relaxing.
- Martin SplittSeptember 30, 2013If you don't want to pay for WiFi, go to Garfunkel's around the corner and enjoy the free WiFi together with a breakfast half the price
- Great location for a reasonable price but that's about it. Standard rooms are cramped and has no A/C. Wifi is slow and premium wifi is £5/day. Also the elevators are too few and extremely slow.
- Nice room, great location, a bar and 3 restaurants, cheap drinks and food. Staff not so happy to work here and no wi-fi.
- Tiny but clean room. Excellent location. Really good wifi service.
- Ankur BanerjeeMarch 2, 2015Central location near Oxford Street. However, it's a really old school hotel with old rooms - and there are way better options in the same area. Very touristy hotel.
- Sofie MonballyuDecember 29, 2017Very good location BUT the rooms are very small with a very small window and a very small double bed. The room stank of cigarettes and there was still paper in the toilet. We only got towels for one.
- Amanda DanielsApril 27, 2012Reception staff need to smile and at least pretend they like being there... Room was great. Clean, plently of space too!
- Ozy OzySeptember 24, 2014This time..room was not clean..bed was not comfortable.only location is great..a few mn by walking to soho and oxford str,.no air condition in rooms..in summer may be bad choice..no free wifi.
- Excellent location.Near to everything!!!Value for money!
- Pierre KetteridgeNovember 22, 2010I've had a good experience here ! - good room, a bit cramped, but clean, everything I'd expect for a hotel at this price - I got a double room for 80 quid. Central London - what can you expect?
- Duncan GledhillMarch 29, 2011I stay week in/week out in this hotel, yes it is basic but so is the price and it is 30 seconds from Oxford street so what more do you want for £80 a night?
- Great location. No air on and when you open the windows, lots of street noise.
- David TravisJuly 14, 2010Your experience at this hotel will depend on whether you stay in a cheap (sub £100) room on in an executive room (£135). The cheap rooms are hot and noisy. The executive rooms are cool and quiet.
- Stuart TaylorOctober 25, 2011Especially in school holidays get to breakfast before 8:30 otherwise there is a mental amount of people and you have to queue for everything
- Mark TungateJuly 22, 2010You get what you pay for, basically. Clean, no-nonsense, cheap and cheerful hotel in a central location. Handy access to the YMCA pool and gym next door.
- annaloopJanuary 31, 2015Very worn down, old hotel with an attached casino. Beds are tiny, bed covers and carpeting in rooms are disgusting. Mass breakfast free of love. The location is good though.
- Steve RhodesJuly 18, 2012Looks like they're trying to do the place up. Don't forget to ask for a concession for parking.
- Rafael MarinFebruary 19, 2015This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in London. The receptionist was so rude that I complained to the Manager. You have to pay for Wifi. You'll be better off by staying in another hotel.
- Stuart MillardMay 5, 2015Rooms are a bit small, hotel has seen better days but lovely receptionist checked me in (Rachael G)
- Thomas GreenoughJuly 7, 2010Hmm, for the first time in quite sometime, I have a hotel room, with a single bed! Must have been grand in the 1970's, but it is a soulless place now.
- Melike YersizAugust 3, 2013Our room and entire corridor smelled like the disgusting greasy "food" they serve for breakfast. The shower is so small that you can barely move, let alone bathe. Shower curtain too small to be of use
- José FernandezApril 24, 2013Quite noisy at night and extremely small bedrooms... Only positive point is location.
- Theatre BreaksAugust 13, 2010Great for a Theatre Break - especially with "We Will Rock You" round the corner. Read more
- Be ready to spend some time in line waiting to be checked in or out while rush hour
- Single rooms are really, really small. I would not recommend this Hotel.
- Jon DaviesJune 29, 2010It's like holidaying in 1974. The "executive" rooms are about premier inn standard. The standard rooms are just tired and unpleasant. No air con and loads if street noise with window open.
- Irina BoteaMay 5, 2018It's ok. The rooms are small but the location is central. Plus they have a pool.
- Janis MccullochJanuary 30, 2012If possible try to go for a deluxe double some of the other rooms are awful
