- A delightfully quiet transport terminus in the City of London. Short walk from anywhere in the square mile and a great connection to the east. Certainly beats Bank.
- Don't get confused between Tower Hill and Tower Gateway. If you need the circle or district line go round the corner towards the Tower of London and take the underground
- Get off the train from the right, in the direction of travel. Just like they tell you folks. Not that difficult :)
- Never gets too busy, trains every 10 minutes & you get mobile signal. This is a dream for Londoners.
- DLR trains only go to Beckton from here. Change at Westferry if you wish to head south for Canary Wharf towards Lewisham or Poplar / Canning Town to head north towards Stratford.
- Alight here for St Dunstan-in-the-East Church (Credit taken from TfL's Cultural underground line maps)
- Paula LawrenceNovember 29, 2014First time using the DLR - quite impressed. Hope to use it again one day
- Alex NJanuary 19, 2012Take the 2nd to last carriage, last doors to Tower Gateway to exit on the left right by the stairs.
- SSj GhostDecember 14, 2011Sit at the front of the front carriage....the worlds slowest rollercoaster!!!
- Joseph RobertsonApril 28, 2016Pretty much empty coaches during working hours. 5pm ones though, you're like sardines.
- IG MorrisonNovember 8, 2010Sit at the front of the driverless train when you get on the dlr. You can pretend you're the driver. Tis rather cool...
- Not a busy station. Bliss. (except for tourists, but hey this is London)
- Get off the train on the right OR left hand side, whichever you want. There is no law or or signage to say otherwise, it's merely requested. Though use common sense if it's busy....
