Supposed to be the largest underground station in the world. It sure is bloody confusing. Be careful or you will get lost in the maze of catacombs that are the tunnels linking the various lines
Paris’ main transport hub. And its busiest by far. 3 different RER lines serve it. Alight for the metro stations Les Halles (4) and Châtelet (1,4,7,11,14)
Since the renovation of the station finished in 2018, navigating this huge station has become a lot easier with good signage and digital transport screens, all within a clean and modern interior
It is a very huge station - I suggest avoiding it to change metro lines and use rather minor stations. You normally gain time! But if you need, take your time and prepare yourself to walk a lot
