Come before 1130 to hopefully beat the crowds. Love the xiaolongbao, pork rib soup, nai bai cai, egg fried rice, vermicelli and tofu soup, veggie bun and hot and sour soup. Ask for no MSG for some dish

Xiao long baos - steamed pork dumplings - are the must have whenever you're at a Din Tai Fung. I would suggest paying a pilgrimage to the Xiao long Bao Mecca in Taipei: the qual difference is stark

DTFs are located in most malls in SG, and is legitimately MY FAVORITE IN THE WORLD. Soup dumplings are a must, but I also love the sesame noodles, cucumber salad, vegetable buns, & red bean buns

The “Liu Sha Bao” or salted egg custard bun is available exclusively at this outlet. It can be ordered in threes or individually. Personally, one is never enough for me each time.

Their signature dish is the xiao long baos, which have various options including with truffle oil. But to be honest, all of their dishes are good.

Try the famed truffle xiao long bao, to feel like Taiwanese royalty for a while. Other must-tries are the warm and soft red-bean Longevity Buns or the sliced duck in crispy spring onion pastry.

For an extra spice kick ask for the birds eye chili. Douse it in soy sauce, and use as a dipping sauce.

Xiao long baos, the plainer the better. Don't get duped into ordering the specials such as chili crab or truffle bao. There's a reason why xlb is famous for being mostly PORK!
