I've been coming here for years and Picnic definitely has the best chicken salad sandwich in all of Houston! Their bread is always super fresh and the staff is always friendly as well!

Pork sandwich is well worth it, with shaved roast pork. A box lunch comes with fruit, chips, and dessert. All breads fresh made and delicious!

The counter holds a map of good picnic spots that includes parks both near (the Cullen Sculpture Garden and Miller Outdoor Theatre) and far (the Water Wall).

Egg salad sandwich hints of green olives; served on fresh sourdough. Good looking, old, and fancy people show up here. Parking problematic. Place owned by Raven Grill next door.

Raven Grill customers take all parking. Drive around the walk and park in neighborhood. It's a short nice walk. Get egg salad box lunch.
