- Most Commonly Used Highway in NYC it is the way to Miami Florida and every other state south of NY, also the way to Connecticut right after Port Chester the toll booth your in CT!!!
- Drivers(Bypass NYC): To avoid traffic on I95 (within NYC) and your heading to CT or North (Or below Jersey) use I287. Less traffic and issues. It ill link you between I95 in Rye, NY and Metuchen, NJ.
- Stay away. Avoid this road at all costs. The worst stretch of highway in the country. Always traffic. Always always always traffic.
- P2/2. For Commercial Vehicles with flexible routing but a GVW 7000+, you may use Route 17 @ Exit 15 in NY or Exit 66 in NJ to points south like US-1 & 9, I-80 and I-95 and the Garden State Plaza Mall
- Late night road work between the on ramp from the West Side Highway to the Jerome Ave exit has traffic in chaos. Give yourself extra time.
