Gift ideas. Besides books (which is always a good gift), pleasantly surprised to find all sorts of knick-knacks at their stationary section. Micro lights, metallic puzzles, magnetic hourglass, etc

An enormous collection of books here. Helpful staff too. Since the demise of Borders, Kino has become the Mecca of books in Singapore. With its wide range of selection and great customer service, you are bound to spend hours and hours of your days here.
Love the Japanese magazine section. And wide selection of manga. Look for those mags with a sticker that says to get supplement from the Chinese/ Japanese counter. You get actual gifts from the mags.

The largest bookstore in Singapore offering a wide range of English titles. I would expect more selections in Japanese language. Chinese books and magazines are limited.

Dangerous place with loads to buy. If you can't find it here, they'll order it in! Really nice place. Widest selection of books, magazines, comics and stationery like moleskines!
The friend told me that there are pickpockets in the shop recently. Keep your belongings (phone!!!) carefully & near you esp when occupied with reading!
