- Divaker SharmaMay 13, 2018The croissant is smashing any competition..if any exists. Way above the trendy Paris baguette franchise or DD .. straight up upscale french vibes... but with a local cross culture NYC crowd, ESPRESSO!
- JenKuduJanuary 10, 2013If you need a dessert for a dinner party or special occasion, the chocolate mousse cake is a sure thing! Had rave reviews from my guests about this cake. Excellent tarts and cappuccino too.Upvoted Feb 3
- Yanique ReversAugust 25, 2015When every bakery in the city told me 48hrs for a Napoleon cake, they had it ready for the very next morning! First class service! And worth the trip from lower Manhattan to Jackson Heights!
- A L.April 15, 2016All the pastries that I've tried so far is great. Awesome almond croissants. Nice people. But sometimes the line is enormous. But that says something great about this place. ☺
- Gajtana SimonovskaAugust 18, 2014Omg- amazing little French cafe makes me feel like I'm in Paris- excellent sandwiches, croissants, croque monsieurs and more. If you want an authentic French pastry experience, come here.
- Serious EatsAugust 18, 2011Their filled croissants are standouts, filled with passionfruit or ham and cheese; the raspberry muffin is like a pound cake. Classics like a Gateau Breton and a St. Honoré are also done perfectly. Read more
- Christina C.April 23, 2013The peach tart is to die for. Not too sweet, just the perfect balance. Everything else is light & flakey. Nothing feels oily but we know there's butter in these treats. Almond croissants are yummy.
- Christina C.April 6, 2013Great place in a strip mall next to Waldbaums. Pastries are light & flakey & not too sweet. Very delicious. Apple tart & almond cream tart are excellent. I'll be back to try everything else.
- ShivanSeptember 19, 2016Their ham & cheese croissant is the best I've ever had. Hands down. Also, their peach tart was buttery and scrumptious! #FoursquareFind
- Ron LevenbergJune 11, 2016I bought carrot cake last time I visited my parents and my Dad said it was the best he'd ever had. The pastries and danish are delicious.
- C KimMay 2, 2013I always drop by here on my way to the airport; the location is not really accessible to me, but they make the best french-style pastries in all New York, I can say.
- Ariel HermanMarch 3, 2016Utterly fantastic French bakery tucked away in East Elmhurst. Everything here is delicious. I usually get a croissant or lemon square.
- QNS MADEJanuary 17, 2016The best Napoleon (mille-feuille) cake we've ever had, must also try their almond croissants! All the desserts here are delish.
- Mily BeCanAugust 19, 2014The Gateau Breton. Cheese Danish, the baguette bread. And more, all excellent! So happy to have this patisserie in our neighborhood!
- Jay SSeptember 5, 2014Hidden gem bakery tucked away in Jackson heights. Creole cake is delicious, and the almond croissants are a great quick bite
- Excellent menu and decor. Always supportive of independent businesses (not a Starbucks). Sadly the service is slow as a snail and this is on a Thursday at 10:30am. The owners should hire more staff.
- My favorite has to be the bread pudding and the cheese danish. And from the cakes the chocolate cake is all I get!
- Chloe FoxNovember 14, 2014Nearly everything here is a winner. My two favorites are the Croque Monsieur and the Coco Fraise cake-- both to die for.
- Red velvet cake, espresso cake, Pear tart, croissants, their bread, their sandwiches.. EVERYTHING is amazing here. Owner used to be the pastry chef at the Waldorf Astoria. Goods are cheap & fabulous!
- MarinaNovember 2, 2012Omg.. Everything they have is yummy! Love their cheese Danishes, bread puddings, tiramisu, etc. It's located in a strip mall next to Walbaums.
- The best almond croissants in the city. But don't ignore the other goodies like their cannelle -duh!
- Salmon sandwich is good but a bit salty... Coffee usually sucks big time! Otherwise the best french bakery around!!!! Greaaaat desserts and pastries!!!
- New York HabitatApril 10, 2012Don’t let the location of this place put you off! The prizes are amazing, as is the food! Try the French macarons: they're delish.
- Croissants are great, but the pastries are to die for - Mille Feuille, St. Honore, Espresso 33.
- I'm always amazed at the quality of the desserts & savory here. Favs include red velvet cupcakes (unique, a must have!), olive & fig breads, macarons (pistachio, coffee), croque monsieurs & pear tart.
- Great selection, authentic French patisserie, great friendly staff and you can't beat the price/value.
- Benoit MarcotteSeptember 8, 2012An espresso in a paper cup and a very simple croque-monsieur for a quick lunch and you will be in heaven.
- Village VoiceAugust 15, 2014Offers up more than just croissants: there are mousse cakes, pear tarts, and lemon muffins. Read more
- Philo4ThoughtJanuary 10, 2014A *perfect* Galette des Rois (the French equivalent of Vasilopita). Merci beaucoup!
- Melanie W.September 20, 2015The peach tart is out of this world. Why is this place so far from the subway?
- Get the Creole and St. Honore. By far the two standouts amongst all the other wonderful pastries
- Go to Cannelle and get a cheese danish and a cappuccino. Skip the brewed coffee, it's not very good but the cappuccino is phenomenal. All the cakes & sweets are great too.
- Village VoiceNovember 14, 2011Winner of Best Reason to Cross Northern Boulevard in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! The wheel-shaped treats are tre magnifique.
- Racky RossDecember 16, 2014Awesome selection of pastries. I walked in by chance and I couldn't be happier!
- Phillip WoodOctober 16, 2014Great classic pastries. My first and last stop every time I need to go to LGA.
- Jean 💜June 7, 2016The plain croissant, a standard for a French bakery, was too oily all over; crust lacked the flakiness necessary to make it feel like the light bread it should be.
- Sue WJuly 28, 2015Love the food, but their coffee cups are the worst. Don't get burned or get coffee spill on your clothes.
- 陳雄暉 弟兄October 22, 2014French pastry in a strip mall? How en vogue! I guess anything French out here is étonnant. 🗼
- Joseph TamAugust 8, 2010An odd location for this place makes it a hidden gem... the "Creole" chocolate mousse cake was pretty phenomenal.
- Croissants, cheese danish, St. Honore cake, everything is good here!
