Hundreds of dog bones have been buried under the grass here. They've recently banned dogs on the grass to preserve these artifacts for future dog generations.

Beautiful new park at on the water overlooking manhattan. Great place for a picnic.
This park is excellent both day and night! Grab a cone at Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and enjoy the promenade!- Bring a picnic basket and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Manhattan Skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. One word of caution, keep your children away from the metal climbing domes.

How Green should be. Great views of Lower Manhattan. Catch the Gov Island Ferry, trek across the Bklyn Bridge or just kick back at the wine bar. Perfect for picnics or chillaxing.

Hang out on the southern slope facing the Statue of Liberty. Less crowded and great for sunsets.
It's beautiful at night. Perfect for a romantic or meditative stroll.
