I don't like bananas. And I don't like bread puddings but I love Magnolia's banana bread pudding with a passion. I LOVE EVERYTHING Magnolia! Cheesecake & cupcakes are incredible. Lines here are insane
I always go for the flourless chocolate cake ($3.50 a piece) and the red velvet cupcakes. This place is found at the lower level of Grand Central station. Try to drop by while waiting for your MetroNo
This worths for many! Skip the whole thing and go for banana pudding and red velvet.. If you're waiting for a long line make sure they still have the pudding in there!
Delicious goods. Staff is too slow for my liking. Efficiency is definitely an issue here. They also messed up my cake order. I was VERY dissatisfied with that.
On the lower level at Grand Central Station, go here instead and skip the lines at the famous West Village location. Watch as the expert bakers ice the many flavors of cupcakes right before your eyes.
Stick to the banana pudding. Altho disappointing how it’s sometimes served not as cold as you’d expect. Skip the cake- esp the red velvet, Sprinkles is waaay better. Even the choc is underwhelming
The bakery that began the cupcake craze is still the best. We suspect it’s the lick-your-fingers-to-get-the-last-bit-of-butter-cream frostings and fillings. They do a mean banana pudding too.
7(seven!) associates behind the counter take 10(ten) minutes to serve 2(two) customers, just coffee and pastry each. When I open my bag on the train, it's not what I ordered. Ughhhh.
Maybe I came here with too much expectation. I ordered the iconic red velvet cake, and was absolutely without flavor. The espresso was bad. There are better places in ny. I'm definitely not coming back
Can anyone say Red Velvet cupcakes???? Oh My God.... (Christopher loves them) When Al and I are in the city it's a definite stop. -Caroline Manzo, Real Housewives of NJ
I was disappointed with the cupcakes, after all the hype. The cake is too floury and the icing isn't much better... I can honestly say I've baked better from scratch, not being humble or anything...
