A bit difficult to reach by bus, it's definitely worth the hassle. One of the best and largest parks in Rome.

The best way to explore this beautiful garden is by bike; the path from Ponte del Risorgimento to Villa Ada passes by the Villa Borghese gardens.

Huge park in a very non touristic side of Rome. If you want to spare a couple of hours away from the touristic centre, that's your choice!

Have a picnic. Check out the artificial lake with turtles, ducks and swans. Don't try it on Sundays if you are not ultrasocial.

Rome's greatest park, but closed for snow for a week now (yes, it snowed a little). Hope we're going to see the park open up again soon.

So beautiful with so much history, be prepared for a long walk. The entire park is surrounded by a wall and there are only few entrances/exits. There is only 1 trattoria with a huge queue of people
