- Aditya BasuOctober 8, 2014Don't walk away coz of the long lines, they really move fast. I have rarely seen 5 barbers work in parallel. And you know why they have long lines. Excellent haircuts
- Dan FetznerDecember 30, 2014Mark is great, consistently hooks me up with a good cut. A popular spot so usually a little behind schedule even if you have an appointment but for $20 it's worth the wait. Best value in the city
- Been coming here for over 3 years and I've seen the clientele outgrow the space and the guys know it too. So they decided to expand. Be on the look out for a big new shop in a couple of months!
- I've gotten my hair cut from three different guys here and they all have done an amazing job. For someone as picky as me when it comes to choosing the right barber, these guys are fantastic.
- Eli ShowalterSeptember 14, 2015I've tried out most of the barbershops in the East Village. Eli is the guy I've gone to past three months because he consistently gets the cut done right.
- Nate SJanuary 10, 2018They now have a second location down the block (On The Mark Barbershop II)! The guys are so good here they had to open another spot (that’s pretty damn good sign).
- Max WendkosJanuary 26, 2017You may be in for a long wait if you don't make an appointment, but this is still my favorite barbershop in the city. Nick hooks me up with a great haircut every time.
- Definitely a good haircut. They don't skimp you by rushing you out the door. Time was taken to make sure everything was the way I wanted it and that there were no stray hairs.
- Matty JungAugust 26, 2012Great barbers, awesome house music, first place that didnt mess up my hair! Everyone is great and they actually listen to you! Highly recommended!
- Local place, Always a great haircut - I can tell they're becoming more and more well known and popular in the neighborhood.
- Best barbershop in town. All five guys give great hair cuts. Their blow dry technique is unreal.
- Roy ChenDecember 9, 2016If you have Asian hair, this is where you go. $22 per cut, lively atmosphere. Ask for Mike.
- Everyone is good. The queue is a bit chaotic leading to much confusion among customers waiting. Change the random seating on the bench to an order of first arrived so there's no confusion.
- I live in Harlem, and make it a point to come down to the East Village to get a shave from Eli. Best barbershop in the city...by far.
- N LurieFebruary 12, 2014Couldn't settle on a barber when I moved to NYC. These guys are more reasonable and better at cutting than the other places I checked out
- everyone who works here is really good. been coming here for almost a year, and they always kill it.
- I have a very specific haircut and Eli kills it every time. Will come here as long as I live in New York.
- Can't beat this place for the price. Each barber here is solid.
- Bob van LeeuwenSeptember 17, 2012Cheap, precise craftmanship.. Breath of fresh uathentic air compared to the overworked chains
- Dan GordonJune 11, 2012These guys can only cut hair for guys that are going to the Jersey Shore. If you are not one of those guys, stay away from this shop.
