Don't walk away coz of the long lines, they really move fast. I have rarely seen 5 barbers work in parallel. And you know why they have long lines. Excellent haircuts

Mark is great, consistently hooks me up with a good cut. A popular spot so usually a little behind schedule even if you have an appointment but for $20 it's worth the wait. Best value in the city

Been coming here for over 3 years and I've seen the clientele outgrow the space and the guys know it too. So they decided to expand. Be on the look out for a big new shop in a couple of months!

I've gotten my hair cut from three different guys here and they all have done an amazing job. For someone as picky as me when it comes to choosing the right barber, these guys are fantastic.

I've tried out most of the barbershops in the East Village. Eli is the guy I've gone to past three months because he consistently gets the cut done right.

They now have a second location down the block (On The Mark Barbershop II)! The guys are so good here they had to open another spot (that’s pretty damn good sign).

You may be in for a long wait if you don't make an appointment, but this is still my favorite barbershop in the city. Nick hooks me up with a great haircut every time.

Definitely a good haircut. They don't skimp you by rushing you out the door. Time was taken to make sure everything was the way I wanted it and that there were no stray hairs.

Best barbershop in town. All five guys give great hair cuts. Their blow dry technique is unreal.

Everyone is good. The queue is a bit chaotic leading to much confusion among customers waiting. Change the random seating on the bench to an order of first arrived so there's no confusion.

I live in Harlem, and make it a point to come down to the East Village to get a shave from Eli. Best barbershop in the city...by far.

Couldn't settle on a barber when I moved to NYC. These guys are more reasonable and better at cutting than the other places I checked out
