Great Lunchspot in Mitte. Often crowded: takes a bit time until you get a table and the food is served - good thing to do: ordering directly when you are seated;) But great dishes and free green tea!

I like simple places where the focus is more on food. Canteen like but still a huge menu and good sushi.

You may have to wait for a while to get a table during lunchtime. Place is quite canteen-like but the food is good with reasonable prices.

Ume Menu + Che-Ro Rice for 7,50 Euro is the best deal in Berlin! + free sensha tea! Great authentic japanese taste! Defenatly my favourite lunch place, and also good for casual dining with friends.

2 lunchtime visits in 2 days. Yes, it’s that good. Particularly if you catch the Happy Hour, all day Wed and Sat. Before 4pm on the remaining days.

Freshest sushi I've ever tasted! Come during lunch time and try the Sake (salmon) menu. I get very grumpy if I'm not having it once a week!

The sushi is awesome, but take the opportunity to try some of the other great japanese dishes. Try a Don bowl, Hijiki seaweed or, if truly adventurous, Natto.

Free green tea, good food, cheap. They don't have menus in any other language, just German, but you can see some photos and see more or less what the dish is about

This is a fair sushi canteen with some hints of traditional Japan. Mostly it's an affordable place to eat in this part of Mitte.

Reviews that praise this place are from people who don't have the best taste in sushi. It's not bad but it's certainly not good and definitely not worth a visit if you're a tourist.

I was shocked that they have pretty good negitoro-don (raw tuna, onions and wasabi on rice). I haven't even seen it anywhere else in Berlin and wouldn't have expected much quality. But 10 euros...

This is not good Japanese food. Honestly if this is one of the best places Berlin has to offer, don't eat Japanese in this city. Bad service, luke-warm food, generic fast-food mall food feel to it.

Nice place to try Japanese dishes that are not available everywhere else (natto, cey-ro, taiyaki...) But the taste is nothing in particular.

Happy Hour until 16h, Wed and Sat whole day; closed on Sunday. Popular with Japanese. Also take away. Definetely a recommendation.
