- The roast meat stall mentioned by fellow 4SQ is 益有 (#02-56). It is in one corner on the 2nd floor. Their char siew had a coating of caramel. I enjoyed it over a plate of wantan noodles (equally yumz!)
- Sliced fish soup: Mei Xiang #02-44 soup stock was so yummy, I drank d whole bowl up! They offer both sliced fish & fried fish. Order mixed "black & white" if u r uncertain :-)
- Popiah: Enjoyed my light bite of freshly-made popiah fr stall #7 (basement). Run by 2 older folks, it generous & wasn't soggy. Crispy bits added a nice crunch. Opens noon-7pm daily. Closed Monday
- Popular desserts. Many diners, especially at lunch time, make a beeline for Hot & Cold Dessert #02-58. Serving popular iced desserts such as ice kacang & chendol, & warm ones like cheng tng & tau suan
- Specialty vegetarian. Jin You Yuan #02-35 has pre-cooked dishes to choose from. They have other single-serving rice & noodle dishes like ban mian, wantan noodles, hor fun too
- Kway Chap. Enjoyed clean, subdued flavours from Lao Liang #01-37. Would order from them again, especially since they also prepare the very rare pork trotters jelly & shark meat
- Elise ❥January 31, 2016Came on a Sunday. Many stalls closed. Had to use the ATM here (only 1 machine) as there were no other ATMs around the vicinity. Many foreign workers q-ing to withdraw money. Q-ed for 45 mins! Whoa!
- Yong Tau Foo (food stuff with pork or fish paste). Special Chilli Yong Tau Foo B1-17 welcomes breakfast regulars. Home-style, tasty chilli & sweet sauces, affordable
- Fried kway teow (fried flat rice noodles). Hock Kee #01-16 prepares a dry style. Generous (this plate size M: $3.50). The only thing missing from all that clanging is 'wok hei' (smokiness)
- Vegetarian options: thunder tea rice, chee cheong fun, pumpkin cake, fried carrot cake, local snacks & desserts, popiah, specialty vegetarian, yong tau foo, gado gado
- Curry chicken noodle. Sheng Kee #02-45 serves a savoury-salty curry. His smallest offering $4 has 2 pieces of chicken, a diced potato, some slices of fishcake, 'taugeh' (beansprouts)

- Very reasonably priced sugar cane juice at B1-15 Lee Seng Coffee Stall SGD1.0 for a small and SGD1.30 for a large cup.
- 'Chai png' (rice w dishes). Fatty Kow #02-59 serves up home-style dishes. Enjoyable 👍🏼 This plate of 2 vege + 1 meat $3.50

- Belle ChuaOctober 17, 2010Never miss the popiah and BBQ chicken wings located at lower level. It's the best in Singapore. The chicken wings are BBQ to crisp & doesn't burnt & the popiah is wrapped with a gd bal of ingredients.
- You can sleep here at night at the table if you don't have home or local hotels are too expensive for you.

- Very Lucky Turtle Soup - The turtle soup is nice and herbal. Other good dishes include the braised (hong sao) turtle and red wine (hong zao) chicken.
- Must Try Lim's Fried Oyster!!! Best Best!!! Will Love it.

- Fishball noodles. Unimpressed with bowl from Self-Made Fish Ball 02-60. Bland serving
- Epok epok (curry puff). Unimpressed with Epok Epok Story B1-11. Bought supposedly freshly-fried ones but the skins were not crispy at all
