Been here 100+ times
Tiny park along busy Mass Ave, but still seems peaceful; contrasting Burke Park across the street. Good shade. Watch step in grass: popular place for dog walking. CVS just N on 12th.

The memorial to labor leader Samuel A, Gompers. Dedicated in 1933 with President and Mrs. Roosevelt in attendance. It was sculpted by Robert I. Aitken and donated by the American Federation Labor.
