- Jon McCartyNovember 5, 2011Ppl bitch about this terminal, but it was built when America was falling in love w/air travel. Best views of air craft and the Potomac. Most romantic terminal I've ever been in.
- Matt DickerOctober 4, 2012Stay to the left at TSA. The line splits at the front and moves more efficiently than the right side.
- Tim MusickSeptember 17, 2011Each laptop needs it's own bin and taken out of it's case. Each iPad also needs it's own bin so grab extra bins and remember shoes and belts off

- Lauren MillardAugust 5, 2013This is a lame terminal. The other terminals have five guys, potbelly and Dunkin doughnuts. This one is really limited. Eat before you get there.

- Brian McDonaldAugust 24, 2012Small and Sun Country does not open until two hours before the flight for check in. Keep that in mind if you arrive early with the plan of getting through check in and TSA early.
- Jack BrownNovember 4, 2010if you arrive three hours early for a flight, you are foolish. It is small, there are plenty of seats and security moves quickly. Arriving an hour before departure gives you plenty of time.
- Katy BurleySeptember 5, 2011Wow! Front door drop-off, no line at Frontier, a short walk and TSA line and to my Gate 7 in less than 15 minutes! Excellent.

- PULL FORWARD. The best unloading spots are NOT at the back.
- Mike RupertAugust 22, 2013There is a shortcut from Metro to terminal A if you go outside after you leave Metro
- Terminal A is the farthest place from anything ever. It's the Pluto of National Airport
- Shannon JeropkeNovember 5, 2021It’s small and cute, but having to take a shuttle to get to terminal B to catch the Metro is annoying.
- Bob BrierMarch 12, 2011I love the look of this terminal. The 60's version if the future design is awesome.
- Corrie DavidsonMarch 3, 2013I live this terminal, small, door to hate in 15 min. Limited food/drink options but enough if the basics to get the job done.
- Geoff OpenshawDecember 13, 2012The low-cost carriers fly out of here and the terminal's condition and offerings reflect that.
- Elaine PlybonJuly 4, 2014Take the walkway from lower level to rental cars instead of waiting for shuttle.
- This place is far away. But you can pretend its the 1930s, part of the terminal was the original airport
- Small terminal with very few food options, but don't count on the security line being short!
- Santi Palacios BacquéAugust 27, 2012Perfect terminal to get just in time for your flight!! Probbably the worst one to be stuck at for a couple of hours, there's nothing besides complimentary wifi
- Chelsea FrazierMarch 24, 2013The food services behind security on gates 1 through 9 is a little sparse get what you need before you go through security.
- Eric BenchimolApril 20, 2013World's worst internet access. Free option (which doesn't work), but even the paid Boingo doesn't work. Also, poor food choices (greasy spoons) and very limited seating. Stay away if possible!
- Kendall WaldieSeptember 12, 2019Not much to recommend. The food options are few and limited. The other terminals are much more comfortable and offer much more.
- If you like walking really, really far, Terminal A is for you
- Bronwyn BaileyMarch 1, 2012If headed out in the early a.m., grab coffee & bagel @ Einsteins before going thru security.

- Good news: Small terminal, limited walking/confusion. Bad news: Limited options/convenience
- JesseOctober 26, 2011Eat before entering because if your flight is delayed you'll be trapped with overpriced and very limited food options.
- Sarah V OOctober 14, 2010It's wrong. It's just wrong. If you're here, you're wrong. In the words of the Wizard of Oz, I'd turn back now if I were you.
- Matt DickerOctober 4, 2012The worst. Few and cruddy places to eat, terrible layout, cramped TSA area.
- The shuttle to this terminal makes me want to die. Can't they build a tram like every other airport?? WHY CAN'T I GET HERE FASTER?!
- Zoe McDermott-AdlerAugust 4, 2011Avoid at all costs. Tiny, cramped, boring, with little to no food options. There isn't even a Starbucks!
