- Kevin PrattAugust 5, 2014The Jose Ribeiro beans from Brazil and roasted by Coava were available on cold brew. The chilled cup has a heavy body of almond. Addtl: semi-washed or natural proc; light mouth; med arom; a bit earthyUpvoted 4 weeks ago
- One of the few spots outside the PNW to feature/sell Coava, a super good Portland roaster. Also they were playing Dilla over the speakers when I was there. Cool place.
- Omar YacoubiApril 3, 2014The #glutenfree chocolate olive oil cake is the perfect texture for creamy coffee delight, and not too sweet
- One of the best specialty coffee shops in all of LA. Vanilla latte or a cubano can’t be beat. Teas and yummy pastries too — you can’t go wrong. Plus they have oat milk!
- Super high quality, delicious espresso drinks. Haven't tried the brewed coffee...I just couldn't bring myself to pay $4 for a cup. Nice little seating area outside, too.
- Shannon RyanJuly 12, 2014Cubano is the best!! They also have delicious freshly made pastries and the folks behind the counter are always pleasant.
- Noah WeissOctober 14, 2014Get the cortado -- they call it a gilbrater. Great outdoor patio and iced chai latte, too.
- Sam WingDecember 4, 2015Great place to grab some espresso (at a fair price!) and get some work done. Inside and outdoor seating for your people watching pleasure.
- Yulia ZiAugust 29, 2015An excellent spot to stop on your way to final destination. Easy street parking, plenty of seats (indoors and outdoors). And yes, great coffee.
- Chris MessinaFebruary 26, 2018Great spot for good coffee, wifi (pw: coffee4fairfax), working with power outlets.
- I make a trip here every time I'm in LA. Real coffee and espresso in a town swimming with bad coffee. Gibraltar is my go to drink.
- West hollywood's finest espresso. Meets Australian standards. Outside area is good for kids as it's enclosed.
- @JaumePrimeroNovember 1, 2012Excellent latte up to Blue Bottle and Stumptown standards. Add the extra shot for a buck. Love that they use an IPad for checkout!
- Hipster baristas in vests, great coffee, iced americanos, great outside space for people watching. What more could you want?
- nikkiDecember 10, 2016does Stevie Nicks work here? because these pastries are clearly made with some combination of crack and magic.
- Do they use butter or something? These drinks are smooth! My favorite coffee place in LA so far.
- Sparatik- NessAugust 13, 2014Coffee and music are great. Space is limited so you have to get there early. Free parking below!
- Reggie TolbertSeptember 15, 2014The baked goods here are tasty...get the chocolate chip and toffee cookie!
- Davy KeseyOctober 23, 2017Good coffee, of course, but couldn't give more than a 😑 rating because of how wildly uncomfortable the outdoor seating is.
- Michael LiberatoreJuly 31, 2013Really rich American and great music, too. Nice, non-attitudinal staff. Rare for a hip LA coffee joint!
- Brad HardingApril 15, 2013Getting work done in a coffee shop is a Starbucks invention. If you're here for that, you're in the wrong place. If you're here for great coffee, welcome.
- Mike P. LewisMarch 3, 2012There is a breakfast truck (the Egglsut) that leaves by 10am. But if you can, go to it and order a "Ron Swanson". You won't be disappointed.
- Cubano is delicious though a tad on the sweet side. First time I ordered it wasnt hot enough so the second time I asked for extra hot and it was barely hot enough to enjoy!! Still really good though!
- Ross G.August 16, 2012Do the AMEX deal and get $10 worth for $5 back. I screwed this up thinking I didn't need to spend $10, but ended up spending nearly $5 anyway on one drink. So, I coulda got a food item for free!
- Ana VitikAugust 11, 2014Latte is pretty damn good here. The place is not on my way to anything and i dobt live close, but sometimes i just make the trip for that latte D:
- If you can make them smile, you get a free coffee! Just kidding. But seriously, try to make them smile. It's impossible. They act like they're handling nuclear launch codes here.
- Premium cold brew is the way to go. The quiche is amazing as well...
- Best value for high-end coffee in the city. Free parking and wi-fi. Music can be a bit loud at times.
- Ruth Valerie BaltazarJanuary 30, 2013Try all of their pastries! Handmade AND homemade! Cant go wrong :)
- Calliope PorterFebruary 17, 2014wifi password is on chalkboard next to the list of teas. some outlets inside!
- As much as I LOVE the coffee here and the good music I wish the volume of the music was s bit lower... Perhaps it keeps me from lingering for too long
- Very nice new addition to the current cult of caffeine. Even better that they so generously share their Wifi with all.
- David TaitelbaumJuly 17, 2012The cold brew Victrola Ethiopian coffee hits the spot on a warm summer day.
- Daniel MarkhamMarch 28, 2012One of the few places outside of Portland you can taste Coava Coffee. So taste it :)
- Very convenient spot for great coffee if staying near Beverly & Laurel.
