    After visiting the museum and shaft, hop on the tube and go to Wapping station on the other side of the river. On the platform, you can see the tunnel and the station is built in the other shaft.

    I had an excellent meal at the historic Mayflower pub opposite which included a free drink of local real ale as part of a deal with the Museum.

    Climbing into the tunnel entrance was fun. Especially for who,like me, is very tall :D Looks like is the oldest tunnel in London. Pretty cool ha ;) Take a look of the benches outside: so cool!

    It's only a tiny museum, but definitely worth the 3 GBP entry fee to learn about something you've probably never heard about.

    The museum's tiny, but hold on a year or two and they'll have an amazing events/exhibition space in the converted ventilation shaft.
