- It can be busy on weekends. Bring a blanket & sit under a tree. There are only port-a-pottys here & they are nasty! Bring your own toilet paper & hand sanitizer (there are usually none of either).

- Liane BanseAugust 7, 2016Love coming here on my bike. Great rest stop located at the end of the runway at Reagan National. Planes are very low and very loud when they pass over you. Never gets old.
- Spectacular views of planes flying into Reagan National Airport. The park is adjacent to the runway, so you are directly underneath the planes landing. Can't miss this exhilarating experience !

- Good place to watch planes take off and land at National Airport, but stay off the trail unless you want to get (deservedly) run over by a bike or runner.
