If you see the counter flashing 0 don’t bother rushing, the train already left. Take your time and walk to the car of your choice for the next train.
The police are very active here. Walking between train cars or jumping turnstiles are likely to get you ticketed.

J service sucks after pm rush hours and weekends, E service is hit or miss at times and Z only 5 or 6 sets run rush hours depending on the season. So far service is good, but be aware of the homeless in the station.
Careful coming in to the station today, none of the Metrocard machines take ATM or Debit cards and only a few are working correctly as I found out this morning
Eat at Chicken Delight; by far the best of food court.

Cabbies have no souls. They are dangerous. Be careful.
