- TiffanyMarch 12, 2016Hole in the wall restaurant bc you have to turn into an alleyway to get here but the Malaysian food here is pretty authentic! My fav is the Assam laksa which is a good mix of spicy and sour.
- Untapped CitiesJuly 27, 2012If you're up for a bit of rewarding work, don't hesitate to order the aromatic crab ($14.95). The melt-in-your-mouth, tender white meat you'll extract from the deliciously seasoned shells is heavenly. Read more

- TomSeptember 15, 2016Hidden in an alley that connects Bowery and Elizabeth. Very authentic. Love the asam laska, curry brisket, and hainanese chicken
- My favorite lunch is beef curry rice. For dinner with friends get the asam fish head curry. It's a generous portion perfect for sharing.
- Curry beef brisket noodle soup. Roti canai. Hainanese chicken. If you’re with a group, the fish head curry casserole with a side of chicken-flavored rice.
- Amy ChenJune 14, 2015Definitely try the roti canai! We also ate hainanese chicken and the rendang beef.
- Naphat KijsamrejAugust 1, 2015Great Malaysian-Chinese greatest hits, stir-fried morning glory, Hainanese chicken, char kway teow and really tender beef rendang.
- Elise ChengDecember 20, 2013I'm a Malaysian who came here to give this restaurant a try. It's up to standard. Worth trying. FYI, the owner is a Malaysian Chinese. Try talking to him. He's really friendly.
- Serious EatsJuly 15, 2013Solid, satisfying Malaysian in Chinatown, one of the better in the neighborhood. Try the crisp, no-breading Pataya Fried Chicken or the nasi lemak,
- Delphine M.January 5, 2017The beef satay was very flavorful and not drowning in satay sauce as it can sometimes be! The coconut rice is also a delicious choice.
- NetsirkDecember 21, 2014Great local, authentic Malaysian food hidden in Chinatown. Food is always good and cheap. Recommend for veggies: Kang Kung belacan.
- Alexandra FanningNovember 7, 2017Amaze hainanese chicken and rice 🍚 and roti kanai is good too ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

www.nycfoodie.com :) - K MedinaMarch 29, 2014The food was amazing! The area that it's located on is a little sketchy, try roti with chicken curry.
- Michelle WilesMarch 25, 2017Roti appetizer bread is essentially buttered phyllo dough.. and I'm not mad about it
- Wesley BlissAugust 23, 2014Hidden little place, good/standard food, nice service. They have Chinese medicine soup for when you're feeling run down.
- Try the Nasi Lemak - I would prefer it to come with beef rendang instead of chicken curry. But this was very good.
- Nicole MarcelliniMay 3, 2012Very malaysian, many compatriots, try the Saté with pieces of peanuts, and the Mango Prawns if you like sweet-sour!
- Chicken rice is good they are super stingy with the achat, $6; if they Reyes this in Malaysia they would be shot
- Adrienne LiuNovember 11, 2013It's a little pricey for Chinatown, but it's decent. The Haianese Chicken is waaaay overhyped- don't bother getting it. The beef and Chinese broccoli ($15) is delicious though!
- 陳雄暉 弟兄October 14, 2014Aww yeah, Westside Malaysian food on the East Coast! Anyway, mee goreng (the Malaysian lo mein) was done well. Not oily at all.
- This place has been here forever! And it's still going strong! I love their curry beef
- RMarch 25, 2012Must try the chicken satay and hainanese chicken. Roti canai was subpar. This place gets closer to true Malaysia taste than Nyonya.
- Terrea MitchellFebruary 20, 2016Try what other reviewers recommend. My friends did and they raved. I tried the salt fish and chicken fried rice it was okay. The fish was stale tasting to me.
- Try the Beef Satay - Really really good. I can have this with just a bowl of rice.
- leo kyivJune 17, 2020I ordered two dishes for take away and to say the truth they were rather average. I was disappointed. Curry mee for example is much better in Nyonya.
- Been going to this place for years! They have really good Hainanese Chicken!
- Jen ShinMarch 7, 2015i wish the roti canai serving was larger; def the smallest ive seen in any malaysian restaurant.
- Fish head noodle soup is delish. Huge chunks of fish and cheap!
- I've been coming here since it used to be half the size. Great curry & noodles and the wait staff is extremely helpful.
- Katie ChinMay 21, 2012Get the curry beef brisket with rice. This place has the best curry I've ever had.
