Night photos are good here. You'll need someone else to take it to make it good. Turn around and get the Washington Monument. Photosphere to get them both.

It was amazing! Loved seeing the history, the photos, and hearing different stories from USSS. Would definitely recommend but be prepared for long lines and possibly waiting longer than you thought.

The day of Reagan's first inauguration was also the day American hostages in Iran were released. Seven days later on January 27, 1981, the President greeted them on the South Lawn of the White House.

Too bad they are not doing tours anymore as I can't remember I time when they have not. The view from the South lawn is far and you might have a better view from the North lawn.

Good luck trying to get over here. It’s open sporadically due to Pres Trump’s movements, and also can’t get right up to the fence anymore
