- TingApril 5, 2016Having tried all the coffee stalls here, the best brew goes to Cambridge Coffee Stall (#01-06) that is facing the HDB shops.
- Go for Cambridge Road HK Roast. The lady was very friendly, and the roast pork and char siew were great, topped with a good soup and veg all for $3. Super value for money.
- Mushroom vegetable noodles. Soon Huat Wanton Noodle #01-04 will gladly sell you a vegetarian plate of just mushrooms and vege, for the same price of their other dishes, $3.50
- Mag TYJuly 7, 2017My 1st time here and I am wowed by the variety of excellent food options. Love the prawn noodles (no MSG taste), hong kong chee cheong fun and carrot cake.

- Fried butterfly dough & peanut ball. Bought from Delisnacks #01-24 at 7:30am on a Sunday. Both items were cold. For 90-cents each, I’d rather get the peanut pancake (60-cents) nearby for freshness

- It's super hard to find anything (that's tasty) for dinner because all the stalls close very early.
- Rice porridge. Comfort food offered by Ou Yuan #01-07. Your order freshly cooked each time. Usual protein options of pork, chicken, fish, egg, century egg
- Dinner options limited. On a typical day, 10 stalls r open: 5 drinks stalls, & 5 food stalls (Indian, fried kuay teow/oysters, fried rice/hor fun, fish bee hoon, zi char) :-(

- TingAugust 14, 2014A serene neighbourhood food centre just outside city centre. Kind of a destination as it is situated near but not along major roads. Goreng Pisang is very good here. LE Bakery nearby also popular.
- Vegetarian options: vegetarian beehoon, you tiao (fried fritters), chee cheong fun (rice rolls), pancake, Indonesian kueh, yong tau foo, fruits, friedcarrot cake, beancurd, chwee kueh, prata, yam cake
- Prawn noodles: 2 stalls 2 choose. Taukehs eat @ Wah Kee #01-15. Soup is thick & has a kick. The other #01-41 is run by young couple & comes w kangkong vege. U can ask 4 boiled pigskin, chilli powder
- Matthew KeeFebruary 10, 2018Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun is really The best in town, even better than what I had in HK. It's freshly made and so soft.
- There's a SingPost postbox near the food centre. @ corner facing the pedestrian crossing. Mon-Thu 5pm collection. Fri 6pm. No mail collection on weekends
- Kopi (local coffee): Remember d Soup Nazi in Seinfeld? Look 4 Kopi Nazi @ this mkt. New Fashion #01-39. His premium blended java brew is thick & generous. Premium, but still affordable prices too ;-)
- This is only a daytime (morning, lunch and afternoon) market. You won't find much here in the evenings.
- Sliced fish soup. A popular stall, Delicacy Fish Soup #01-03 prepares fresh bowls of seafood soup. $5 for this bowl of plain sliced fish

- Chunky chai tow kway (fried carrot cake). Heng Leong #01-13 serves this style but their white version tends to be bland
- Duck porridge: Did u know d stall selling kway chap #01-38 also sells very comforting $2 duck porridge? Delicious & just d right portion if u dun really hv a big appetite
- Traditional Carrot Cake, visit Good Spice Carrot Cake. Cheap, Tasty & best of all, Generous eggs serving! A $3/- order comes w/4 eggs! Note: Long queue as it's a one old man team doing cook to order.
- Wantan mee: There are 2 wantan noodles stalls. 1 serves with black soy sauce, ala Malaysian style (#01-44); the other's (#01-04) mee kia is springier
- Roasted meat: Wonder wat d long q @ Xin Heng Kee Chicken & Duck Rice stall #01-14 is all abt? Fresh, succulent & value 4 money. Plus young couple owners v cheery lot :-)
- Mi chiam kueh (Chinese pancake): Die die must q up & buy some @ Yean Heng Pancake #01-32. Go 4 their fresh grounded peanut filling
- Wantan mee. New contender Zhong Ji Delicacy #01-35 is drawing a constant curious queue. Sauce is thick & sweet, not my preferred style. Wantans could be more refined
- Very spacious hawker centre. Relaxed atmosphere. Be there early for black carrot cake.
- Vincent AngAugust 1, 2015This stall facing the row of shops has a nice texture for their fish balls, more homemade style . Noodles were ok but their chiili, soya sauce & vinegar lacked the 'punch' 😩
- Kedongdong fruit juice. Savour this rare-in-S'pore drink @ #01-27. Also known as umbra (or ampulla in Penang) or balonglong, dis ice-cold, sour drink is gr8 on hot days!
- Spacious & lofty after the upgrading. Popular with parents after they drop off kids in nearby schools
- Hainanese curry rice. Did not enjoy my plate from Yuan Kee #01-43. Rice was clumpy. Fried foldover egg was butchered. Pork chop was hard to chew
- Kaya toast set. Three stalls offer this breakfast set, with the cheapest & creamy kaya from Wang Wang @ $2.50
- Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodles. I felt the version from 郑兴四炒 #01-02 lacked flavour & was overly watery, compared to Sheng Seng #01:40
- Try the prawn noodles and chee cheong fan ! Favorite breakfast place

- Old-school hawker with reasonable prices and good quality food.
- Vadai (fried Indian donut) @ #01-08 is yummy, v light when it's just fried. Can't stop @ 1 :-)
- Soon Kee Wanton Mee & Opposite Economic Bee Hoon/Mee are worth mentioning for revisits again. SK's Wanton Mee Chili is extremely spicy, extreme care needed! Regards, Foodie Connoisseur.
