    Amazing work MLK did for civil rights, but so depressing on how horrendous society. The small but effective exhibit takes you thru the history of the movement + beautiful rose garden outside too!!!

    My heart broke to see the power of that humble carriage for Dr. King's funeral procession...with 200,000 mourners. To live in Georgia and not experience the lessons taught here are social ignorance.

    If you go in the Visitor's Center you get free tickets for the tour of MLK Jr's childhood home. Really learned a lot about him... that was my favorite part of the Center.

    You have to walk a little bit from the nearest MARTA station but once you get there, all sites are close by. The center, the park, the church, the house, the firehouse...

    Take a tour of MLK, Jr. birthplace, tomb, and historic Ebenezer Baptist Church. This is a life changing experience, and a must visit place in Atlanta.

    Near the parking lot is the Jackson St bridge over Freedom Pkwy. The photograph used as the primary iconic view of Atlanta for the 'The Walking Dead' TV show on AMC was taken from that vantage point. Read more

    Tours of his birth house run 7 days a week. You have to go to the old "No. 6 Fire Station" to sign up for tour. They fill up FAST! Get there EARLY!
